You obviously know nothing about the Southern California accent. The only regional accent in the US that differs from male to female. Out of curiosity, which accent would you prefer us to use? Certainly not one other than our own. As far as trying to be cool I gave up on that about 1979. Listen to Devo "We're Through Being Cool" and increase your understanding.

i miss this place so much. the water canyon has some of the most amazing people in it and yucca valley is where the family is!!!! i love you guys for making this song. reminds me of the awesome randomness that comes from there. thanks for doing it in places we can remember about the desert.

I grew up in Yucca Valley. It's a good place for crusty prospectors, hippie artists, and busybody small-town politicians who like to be a big turd in a little pot. If you raise your kids here, though, it may be tantamount to child abuse.

Good tune and in Yucca Valley! People who hate Yucca Valley just don't "get it". Yucca Valley is for people who have moved beyond the rat race trip and now seek but a close friend and a close relationship with mother nature herself. To sit on the front porch and listen to the tires driving over the sand of cars passing by only to be replaced by the deafening silence with perhaps a distant bird singing. The desert is full of soothing sights and sounds.
