Just a little compilation of drills you can safely do in your own home. These drills are designed to enhance your ability to manipulate your firearm with re-loading and malfunctions. I didn't cover everything, keep in mind these are just a few basic and advanced skills for you to evaluate and see if they can work for you. If you are a conceal-carry holder, I cannot stress enough how important it is to get continued training and practice as much as you can.
If you think the criminals don't practice or even get lucky once in a while, apparently you live in a closet. Take care & thank you for watching!

  • Very nice, great technique

  • @MaiaCoimbra Thank you very much!

  • It seems to me that the one-hand clearing technique would eventually damage the Glock rear sight. Have you ever had a problem with that?

  • @DjEndurancE Never had a problem with that. I use Trijicon night sights...for what they cost, they better be able to put up with that level of abuse. Of course, Trijicon makes a pretty high-quality batch of products.

  • @randystarkel2009 That's exactly what I am telling my students all the time...if it works for you, then that's all that matters. So many people get hung up on what the latest tactical guy's method is, but what works for someone else may not work for you. Shoot straight & stay safe!

  • @TangoDownProduction i have tryed shooting keeping my left thumb up.. i like it better than tucking it in... i got into the habit now! its my preference.

  • @YudanshaAK Thank you very much for the feedback. You gave me an excellent reason to do an update video covering this in more detail. That is why the viewers are what makes it all worthwhile. Take care & thank you again.

  • Smooth manipulations. I think the tactical load has potential. Would have been nice of you to demonstrate it step by step rather than go through the motions and then actually do it full speed. I would have liked to see the magazines placement in your support hand. Oh, and the exhaling thing is a bit distracting.

  • @randystarkel2009 Just a habit I've always had. My thumbs never interfere with my capability to manipulate or shoot my handgun, so I've never tried to change it. I try to work on the principle - If it's not broken, don't fix it. My friend Pete who has been shooting with me for years shoots the same way, and he's rediculous fast. Good lookin' out though! Take care. :-)
