30 cents a gallon, I remember that. Back around 1971. I thought it was too much. Then 1973 came along (with the gas lines) and 1971 seemed like the good ol' days.

Just think, from the 40s to the early 70s gas prices only went up a few cents, then all of a sudden companies got greedy, people got apathetic and politicians learned how easy it was to make money under the table and burn the voters. ......oops, did I type that aloud? .....
