Seems more 16th Century, the song around 5:50. Familiar, can't place it. Used to sing madrigals at University. Great work.

Yes, I know, it is positively mesmerizing... Unfortunately, I haven't got the fainthest idea what the piece is. I am pretty sure it's Monteverdi, but other than that, I'm clueless.

"lamento della ninfa" - search for it
