@punishr36 first your assuming pretty quick that i've never done grappling or any ground work. second i hold true respect for BJJ fighters, i think its an amazing style and incredibly effective. third there is takedown defence in UFC, not sure where you got that one from. finally the debate on whether bruce lee would have done well in mma is forever to remain a mystery. personally i think his technique skill and speed would have been enough but at this point all we can do is speculate.

@bingothedoghasleft Look you seem pretty descent and I can appreciate your views, I really can but go see what some of the real fighters say like Bas Rutten and there are a few others,, they all respect what he has done who wouldnt. The guy was a genius. If you dont know the ground game your toast and Jet Kin Do is a stand up technique with a few cheesy throws and arm bars. Any of the lighter Gracies would have turned him into a pretzel. In time with training he could have been great I'm sure.

@bingothedoghasleft You have not competed in no holds or grappling etc, I wrestled for 11 years and studide martial arts for only about 4 and when i tangled with a couple of BJJ fighters I was deeply impressed. You Bruce fans really have to get a grip. Jeet Jun Do was raped in full contact eg. UFC There is no take down defense not to mention what to do on the ground and if you think he wouldnt end up in a clinch then dont bother talking to me anyomre because you sir are out to lunch!

@punishr36 yes street fighter, its well documented so don't try n' say he wasn't. second there are very few videos of him really fighting (not acting) and of them i don't think any exist of him losing (i havn't heard any accounts of him losing at all). thirdly i have competed and have studied martial arts so do know the nature of it. finally, do some research, he's brought down the likes of gary elms and uechi (in 11 seconds) and many others, the man was a combat veteran, simple as that
