Nissan Sentra Se-R Spec V vs Chrysler Hemi 300

My Sentra is stock against my friends 5.7 hemi 300 (auto) with exhust tubes and tuned with a diablo chip. i knew as soon as he hit is top end he was gonna fly past me. my 4th gear has no pull compared to a v8. I am happy with how my car performed tho (: my friend had 2 passangers as i had 1 also. i did forget to turn off the music as well. i hope youtube doesnt mute my video now.

@Hore This particular model (B15)SPEC V is rated at 175 HP at the crank, which is roughly around 145-150 HP at the wheels. The newer 2007 and up (B16)SPEC Vs are the ones that make 200 HP.. Not these ones.:)

@eramming lets put it like this. block work... piston, rods, bored block, and custom springs. im getting a fully ported head done now and will do cams, vq tb matched ported intake manifold. awesome tune software, custom turbo kit with a precision turbo. and possibly 07 rods. all thats really needed.

@pFbSpecV no doubt it can be done. you can get 900hp from a QR with enough money and R&D but you cant just go get parts off the shelf to do it. you're gonna have to do more than build the block. rods,pistons,cams,crank all have to be done. probably have to destroke it. im not doubting you at all. Go do it. just know that its not easy regardless of the "tuning software" you speak of.

@eramming its easy now with better tune software out there. and yes im going to build the block and using a pretty decent size turbo. theres a couple qr running 500hp so it can be done.

@pFbSpecV explain how you will get to 500whp please? Check out trav4011 to see what it takes to get 500whp. either you do an all motor build or a turbo build not both unless you have endless cash flow and time to waste. sorry but ive been tuning nissans for 20 years and posts like this making it sound so easy bother me. good luck to you
