  • I love the song ,sounds like the recorded version.

  • No it's not MTV. It was a show that was on one of the networks, just for that one season. It was essentially an American Bandstand knock off, but they filmed it on the beach (as you can see). I remember one episode actually had a performance by The Ventures, which was even more ridiculous, because they're an instrumental group, but they too were miming to playback.

  • @Rockstaralan I believe Bun is indeed ambidextrous. I recall in 16 Magazine about 30 years ago, where someone wrote in and said he (or she) had heard that Bun was ambidextrous. Apparently, the person thought it was some kind of medical condition and hoped "it isn't serious". Whichever hack at the magazine that was staffed with replying explained that it just meant he could certain things both lefty and righty. Mind you, like I said, this was 30 years ago, so I may not be remembering correctly.

  • ONE THEIR BEST SONGS EVER, AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

  • I would love to be a sand crab and crawl into Jons pants.

  • @EUGENECUB he's always playing pranks.

  • Did Bun E set the drums up left handed as a joke?

  • since this was likely overdubbed for broadcast, I gotta wonder why Rick bothered to play a red Strat copy when his "little Ricky" Hamer was so much more in character. Perhaps we'll never know...

  • I don't know why but I always kinda take these guys for granted like they'll always be around, and never really give enough thought to how great Cheap Trick really are. I get the feeling these guys are gonna be sorely missed when it's too late. Kinda like The Ramones, now it's cool to like The Ramones but I remember when my brother and I were the only people we knew that liked The Ramones. It was probably like that with The Stooges or Captain Beefheart but that was a little before my time.
