If I had to pick a favorite TV theme song of all time, I would pick this one from one of Norman Lear's classic mustard-brown-and-orange sitcoms of the 70's!

This show bored me to tears, but I am intrigued by the theme song, because it's kind of a downer, not what you'd expect from TV of that time.

Me too. I always thought Ginny was the best thing about the show. Too bad they got rid of her. I would probably buy all the Seasons on DVD if they came out, but this is the one I want the most.

Sadly only Season 1 is on DVD. So that suicide episode is not out yet, neither is the one where VB and MP dressed as Elton and Kiki Dee.
