Robocup in india @ 2009

With an endeavor to promote the international RoboCup project and AI research in India, the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur presents the RoboCup Challenge @ India 2009 to be held for the first time in India in association with the international RoboCup Federation. The RoboCup Challenge would not only prove to be a giant leap for India in Robotics and AI research , it would also lead to the advent of many new technologies developed in the process of developing intelligent robots for the highly dynamic environment of Soccer. The problem statement of soccer involves a gamut of challenging aspects like multi- agent cooperation, fully dynamic environment and hybrid centralized and distributed system operation.
