Bart Ehrman says it is full of contradiction and error. See his book "Jesus, Interrupted". Joel teaches from such texts as Matt 6:33, John 16:33, Isa 26:3, Romans 12:2, 1 Tim 6:17. He is not an evangelist. If you serve "the god of the bible", you need a much higher concept of the perfection of the Creator. The bible teaches a false god

Hatred is of no use to One who is all powerful and all perfect. Who ever said anything about a 'best route'? I pointed out that apathy is the opposite of love. All the rest is your faulty reasoning.

@TheRealChikezie what are you talking about? Two Gospels. Joel only preaches one Gospel. Gods son came to the earth and died for our sins. Everyone who is a believer knows that. @k0smon all you've displayed is how little you understand the word hate. All you can see is "hate crimes" or "the no h8 campaign." I'm assuming since hate is such a bad thing, you don't hate the holocaust. And according to you, hate and love can be the same thing, since they share an antonym. As in God is love, and therefore must also possess hate. Thank you for further proving my point. Furthermore, if apathy is the best route, then you must think love is impotent as well... nice one, guy.

@TheRealChikezie ::: Wrath, hatred, jealousy are all symptoms of impotency. They are negative, damaging emotions. Hatred is not the opposite of love; APATHY is the opposite of both love and hate. Please see the lesson learned by Victor Frankle during WW2. I am afraid your simplicity is misguided. Please do not attach symptoms of impotency to an all powerful God.

@minroger2 Woah... slow down, my friend. the sin of man is what makes the remedy necessary. Does not Luke 7 state that He who is forgiven of much, loves much? If so, then we MUST first focus on what it is we must be forgiven for, lest we lessen the impact of Christ's sacrifice and render it impotent. Once we can grasp the levity of our trespass, then we can truly begin to understand the overwhelming sacrifice Christ is.

@Rotorcop12a Wait... so this man preaches 2 different gospels? One that's real and one that's "safe?" Does the Word not say that you cannot serve two masters? Does it not also say that you will know someone is a Christ follower by their fruit? You shouldn't have to do an in depth investigation just to figure out if someone is genuine. It should be obvious in their words and actions... not just the actions "after service.."

@k0smon how is wrath imperfect? More so, how is hatred imperfect? You can say that God is love, therefore He cannot hate, but I tell you God is love therefore He MUST hate. If you love Jews, then you must hate the holocaust. If you love babies, you must hate abortion. Simple as that, my friend. Please don't attach ridiculous human ideals to a Holy God.

@ Kosmon, you just replied to me the Bible is teaching about a false god. Were you referring to the Holy Bible as in a NKJV? or a jw, or mormon bible? JO is nothing but a flesh feeder, he gives the gospel on rose petals, the God I serve is not a genie, nor is He always wonderful. He is to be revered as soveirgn as Holy..not a magical whimsical sort who is jolly all the time..sorry read a real HOLY BIBLE and you will see this.
