WAX was formed in 1996 by 3 Tokyo underground musicians whose previous experiences include bands such as 「Kitazawagumi」, 「Jisatsu」, and 「Canon」.

This Rock`n Roll band applies a brand new coat of polish to the digital music landscape and gives it a spotless shine. Without sticking to their aquired fame they move forward on the strength of their own musical flexibility and produce an imcomparable blend of electric grooves and acoustic bigbeat.
They sound like a smooth mixture of techno elements added to a healthy dose of dynamics provided by some old fashioned elbow grease.
WAX is a bright presence that sits comfortably on top of the Japanese tribal trance scene.
