30 foot waves in alaska

This video was taken from a 3rd level window on a cruise ship, about 30-40 feet up. You can see the waves coming up nearly over the window. The winds were about 84 MPH. The video doesn't do it justice.

If I had taken this video on the ground floor of the ship, then yeah, they'd look about 10 feet high or so... but I was on the third level, and they were coming up over the window.

Yeah when i went on a cruise to alaska there were 30 foot swells. I was running arround on the 5th deck with my cousins and water was splashing up there and getting us wet.
