Ella gave this presentation May 17th, 2011 in San Clemente, California, the nearest city to the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS).

"Ella how old are you?"
Ella:
"I'm nine."
Madam Mayor:
"Okay. Thank you for coming."
Ella:
"Our town is like Japan's Fukushima town. Here are the reasons why: The parents and adults in Fukushima told their kids not to be afraid of the nuclear power plant on an earthquake fault line in their neighborhood. So did some of ours. They say that their power plant could handle a tsunami. So did some of ours. But they were wrong. Don't give our town's adults time to be wrong. Please shut down the nuclear power plant."

It's so simple & obvious that the plant sits only a few feet away from the ocean & we've all seen what el nino storms did to the coastline. There isn't even a very large containment wall around it. It scares the he** out of me to live so close to it. I wish that someone could tackle such a corporate figure as so. cal. edison. The future is with you young Ella. It's up to you & your generation to make some noise!! You go girl!!

Out of the mouths of babes!! What will the parents tell their surviving (?) children IF the profit-mongers do NOT shut this atrocity down BEFORE a Japanese style catastrophe hits the West Coast?
