In the United States Labor Day has become synonymous with beaches and barbecues. Webster Tarpley says Labor Unions are in retreat ever since the days of former President Richard Nixon and the US is down to 9% of the workforce that is unionized. Labor Unions were instrumental in creating Labor Day but what role do they play in America's future?

  • The turnover rate in private sector companies is very high. It's quite common for people to be at a job for five years or less and then they move on to something else People don't stay at a job long enough to care about forming a union. For people who are unhappy with their current job, they have it in their head (right or wrong) that the next job will be better.

  • Fuck you liberal douchebags

  • @Jaansensturnipshop86 Aww it's so cute when nationalists like you speak of "unpatriotic" and "treason" when people uses their own freedom to choice what they want to believe in and not.

Why not just ignore them if you get so mad at what they're doing? They are not swearing allegiance to the communist agenda and they're sure as hell isn't trying to conduct terrorist activities by waving a red flag as a symbol for labour unions.

    Grow up.

  • KILL ALL UNION SCUM!!!

  • @ahm0udy Yes, I am because it is utter bullshit and it is a form of divide and conquer since the average person does not give a damn about class, he is more concerned about why he is being overtaxed by Marxist governments.

  • @NatDemUK yes, are you denying it exists?

  • Does anyone here believe in the bourgeoisie vs proletariat?

  • Perhaps they should say that Democrats are on the side of the KKK as well!

  • Workers are an expense (not a profit)- Companies try to keep expenses as low as possible and keep income, or profit, as high as possible. Seriously, what is the worker expected to do when facing the results of this fact? Unionize? If the work one performs doesn't happen to yield enough to pay the worker, then the worker is a slave. While the company grows and sees futures and profits, the worker is finished with his work and retires; he has what he started with, nothing.
