Blue Tango (arr. by Pat Donohue)

Pat Donohue is, IMO, one of the premier musicians and guitarists on the scene today. This tune is one of my favorites from his American Guitar CD. An arrangement Pat did of an old traditional. Here's to Pat!

Beautiful playing, excellent rendition of probably one of the first tunes I can remember hearing on the 'wireless' in the 50's (in Wales, UK). Fabulous.

I've had this great melody in my head all day and when i discovered yr interesting take on it here it made me realize again how a truly classic song can accommodate all kinds of arrangement. This one moved me deeply-- you play beautifully.
