Clary Croft - If I were a blackbird

Clary Croft is a wonderful Nova Scotia tenor, who deserves greater recognition. This is his rendition of "If I were a blackbird"- a traditional English folk song.

I used to sing this song in choir in Halifax. It was the most touching song we ever learned, I'll never forget it.

I wish I could find a choir version of this song, it would essentially sum up my entire experience in choir.

Great Song. But please note that it is an Irish song not an English one. It was written by the Irish songstress Delia Murphy
