Clary Croft is a wonderful Nova Scotia tenor, who deserves greater recognition. This is his rendition of "If I were a blackbird"- a traditional English folk song.

The images were collected from the Internet, with thanks to the many photographers who are generous enough to let us download their photographs.

  • I too am a long time fan of Clary. Please post more. If you could find "False knight upon the road" that would be great.

  • I have a couple more Clary Croft songs in MP3 format which I'm hoping to find time to post this winter, but not "False Knight" unfortunately. Sorry.

  • My,this does make me homesick for Nova Scotia. Clary Croft should be a national treasure.I have loved his voice for years.

    Top notch quality video- thanks!

  • @ brenspeedie CAW I was already going t be saying that!!!!XOX

  • One of the first albums i recieved as a child was 'Sun, Moon & Stars'......I'd give anything to have a copy of that again! I can't seen to find it anywhere.

  • This guy should be MUCH better known.

  • I used to sing this song in choir in Halifax. It was the most touching song we ever learned, I'll never forget it.

I wish I could find a choir version of this song, it would essentially sum up my entire experience in choir.

    So beautiful.

  • omg i tried lookign for this song for so long finally yay hehe it sounds soo good and sooo hopelessly romantic :]

  • Does it really matter weather it is an irish or english song. we all can appricae it's beauty whereever we're from.

  • Great Song. But please note that it is an Irish song not an English one. It was written by the Irish songstress Delia Murphy

  • I love his voice, have been a fan for over 30 years. Thanks for the lovely video.

Btw, if you are on Facebook I'd love it if you'd upload your video on the new FB page I've created for Clary; it's a new site but I hope to keep it updated with his performance schedule and info.
