Like kovrol said, this was a usa m3, that's a shitty car! Try the euro m3 evo, with 321 bhp. That would be a better race. I love the Evo, don't get me wrong, but this was just like comparing oranges to apples

I have to agree even though I'm a BMW guy... but Mitsubishi can thank the 4WD for the launch and victory. If they made the race 1 mile, the Evo would be beaten. I'm buying a BMW E30 325iX with 4x4 for just that reason. Yeah okay, it goes 0-60 in just about 8 seconds, but with a little change here and there, it would be a hard car to beat at the local summer dragraces. :)

Two of my friends have the E36 m3 evo and i have an Evo 5, it really is that much faster, if the M3 could get all the power to the road it might be able to keep up but the 4wd just can't be beaten!!! Kicked their ass uncountable times!! =D

MR editions didn't come out till 05+ so only the last year production 8's & 9,X's have them. i own a 8 w/300whp, my boy owns a e46m3 both are very different beasts but the tuning capabilities of the Evo are far more vast than that of any BMW not to mention the reliability and maintenance. My friends M5 cats were going bad & they quoted him 4k for each one & side mirror motor $800. his car doesnt even have 50k on it! My evo holds 140k and i've never had a problem to date.
