Here's my new ride I got on oct 18 2009.
It is a Mazda RX7 1989 Turbo II that has been swapped with a Chevrolet LT1 5.7 L , forged with a GM Hot Cam equipped with a T56 6 Speed.

Very cool car to drive.

  • No problem keeping the A/C.

In this video the A/C compressor was there , I have removed it since then ( old video from a few years back ) but this comming winter ( 2011-2012 ) I'm putting the A/C back in the car .If you look in my profile I have new videos of the car ( updated one ) .

  • Custom made exhaust.

  • is there a engine kit o something for this??

how hard is one of this swaps??

  • Many kits available for V8 swap in the RX7 Generation I II & III .

Do a little Google search you'll see.

It is bolt on , no welding required .

  • @mpcv2004 yeha i saw that yesterday on google seems fairly easy to do i just got a rx7 shell this is my first time with a mazda.

so the other question i been thinking about is what ecu o ecm do you use for one of this swaps, an what engine harness i couldnt find that on google yesterday

  • Did you keep A/C? I am curious if the LT1 A/C compressor cleared everything.

  • That's definitely the cleanest sounding LT1 I've ever heard. What kind of exhaust is that?

  • What a cool street sleeper; with this cars' light weight you could probably suck the headlights out of most Mustangs & 'Vettes on the stoplight grand prix circuit..........

  • nice car good sound

  • @mpcv2004 How much did you spend on your swap, not including the engine?

  • Very nice swap. Good job!!

  • @Rotaryisgarbage haha, your username is Rotaryisgarbage!!! that's a dedicated hater!
