@MsSkillet1997 No it is not. it has been mutually agreed among the black metal community that many of these artists use satanism as a ploy to get their careers more noticed. Earlier in his career Varg often dropped the word "satanist" in order to create more hype. Recently, he has said that he doesn't believe in Satan, but instead he believes in Ordin- a Norwegian god and religion that was present before Christianity arrived in Norway.

@TubeSpoker Wo, most black metal bands dont actually believe in Satan. Satan is just a figure of Anti-christianity. As for those fuckin stupid satanist kids, they are just young and dumb. Probably grow out of it eventually.
