I like names that come from nouns. Like if I had a mage or warlock, I'd name him Archive.
Or I'd name a warrior something like Hone.

My technique: find an obscure word. Bonus points if it's relevant to your class.
Ataraxia - n. (Medicine) calmness or peace of mind; emotional tranquillity
Aponia - n. the absence of pain
etc.
