@zillis Oh don't get me wrong its not my favorite Stooges short, I just thought it was ironic that you guys thought it dull and it was the only short of theirs to get nominated for an Oscar during their long run. Also I think the reason you guys might think is dull because the stooges much like the comedians of the time did that 1930s style of slow pace humor. Even 1930s Looney Tunes were kind of slow in the gags.

Its odd that you guys are very low as this was the ONLY stooges short to get an Oscar nomination.

Well, that's all fine and good, but I just think it's rather dull. I'm not claiming to be a big film buff - there's a lot I don't know about films of the 30's - or the 30's in general, for that matter.
But, like many people, my bro and I have been watching The Stooges since the 70's because we love 'em! We're giving our honest opinions here and Men In Black just isn't a favorite.

I agree this short is like an acid tripe, and that's why I love it. It's just random gags thrown together at a rapid pace, but it's all engaging. I look at MEN IN BLACK like a Paramount Marx brothers film, very off the wall and there's several little things you can catch upon repeat viewings. You guys need to check this one out again, especially the stuff with Billy Gilbert as the mental patient. A classic short.

Classic, I agree. One of my favorites - not so much.
