I like this couple because it's like a second chance... we saw how he was after Kate. And if he had to be with anyone else, it's definitely Ziva. <3

i feel like this song has some sort of figurative representation of what their relationship is, at least for ziva. she came to ncis to get away from the mossad, and he showed her, slowly and surely, how to live a normal-er and happier life. how to have fun, relax, goof off. then, of course she gets feelings for him in the fourth season, and the romantic stuff feels like her thoughts from then, only slightly more exaggerated. hey you know, these two are kinda perfect together :).
