A folkloristic tradition here in the northern east of Italy sees demons to follow S. Nicola on his path. While S. Nicola bring presents to good children, Krampus frighten little children who don't say a little prayer. Here is some of the pics I've taken on 5th of December night in Tarvisio (Italy). I've played a little sound track to the photoshot too

As an Anarchist I make it a point to ignore the law.

On the other hand, I'm not callous about children's mental health. Take a perusal of Lloyd Demaus archive of research into historical child-rearing and the scales will fall from your freaking eyes. I'd do krampus, but not to gratify myself by scaring children.

  • @Jcolinsol lol, I might be arrestable for "causing mental anguish to children" according to their over protective parents.

  • @sumoni

Well, make a krampus costume, and go out and do it. If they can hold zombie walks, we can hold krampusnachts.

  • @LUVMEN21 The only way I can think of to bring this tradition to America is for American families to celebrate it in their own homes. Or even a community.

  • THANK YOU, i wish they were in America.

  • marry krampus everybody

    :D

  • eri per caso a Pontebba? XD
