@meryldepp she was being sarcastic....she was just joking trying to say that she doesn't really know why they choose her to do the flim..In other words, her "body of work" is just referring to what she has done in the past. Of course they would ask her to do it... she is amazing!! hope this makes sense in French.lol

Mamma mia! is a musical, and it has a lot of singing and dancing. Meryl Streep is a huge drama actress, By her "body of work" she means her filmography by also implies her own body (or age) because of the dancing involved in the movie.
