@hoagmatt That customer was using the same tractor to pull the chisel plow right in the same time of year, that's why it's set up that way.

Why would you chop using a tractor with duals on the front and TRIPLES on the back? Opening a field you'd waste 3 times as much corn in the outer rows. If traction/flotation are that much of an issue, why not tile the field?

Kits are available to fit on FP240, FP230, JF harvesters. Kits for Gehl harvesters are coming for this season. Maybe JD too later on, but the frame is a little small for that head.

i am guessing the harvester doesn't have a kernal prossesor?

It does... in most of the shot shown. They are 2 rolls of same speed but different diameter (6" and 10").
