commodore 64 when you were little as a gift from grandpa?.. while i agree c64 was a great system with some entertaining games(pitfall, q-bert, etc.).. and some horrible ones(the goonies comes to mind)... i really feel that your grandfather forgot about your bday and just wrapped up the first thing he saw in his house. being 21 in the year 2009 puts your b-day around 1988, after the advent of nintendo and very close to the turbografix-16. but maybe grandpa was behind the times, so i digress.

He was a little behind the times, however the reason he gave it to me is because I fell in love with it. It was special to me simply because it was from him. I was pretty closed off when I was a kid, my parents wouldn't let me have anything. Thanks for criticizing my childhood, I appreciate it.

I remember the Commodore 64, and the tape drives, but the 5 inch diskettes were a major improvement. but Logo is fun when it's around.

Yeah. It makes me happy that they're not these feminist extremists, or anything. Or, "fighting for women's rights", but are just trying to encourage women to play games and not hide in the shadows. Huzzah for FragDolls!

Personally, I like how Fragdoll presents themselves as the breakthrough towards female gamers. Shows the world they themselves have enough skills as men do. I don't think they're sexist in any way, because I believe in equality when I game. I don't treat people differently just because they're a girl, nor do i go easy on them. I'm a male gamer yes, but I respect everyone else, and congratulate Fragdolls on their progress, and for the hard work of people like Vampirekitten for the auditions.
