Before this happened I had gone to the save settings screen and tried to save to "1" (first time I had tried that option with the charger).
I have installed USB drivers and connected it to the PC and upgraded the firmware which has not solved the rebooting problem (the video is taken after the upgrade)

update: this is solved with 3.13e and above firmware which I was sent by someone at Junsi. My charger works now. Great charger!
