@cypress1337 So if Al Bore admitted he was wrong about ethanol, what else is he wrong about?
If climate change is man-made, then why doesn't he set the example with the 3 expensive homes he owns? Why does he fly around on a private jet instead of in a passenger jet that would be flying anyway?
With the massive amounts of energy the Sun produces, what humans produce by comparison isn't even a drop in a bucket. It isn't even a needle in a haystack. So why do people think we can affect climate?
@cypress1337 Did you know that Al Bore actually admitted that he was wrong to push for ethanol use in gasoline? That's because ethanol increases energy consumption. Not only does it have less energy than gasoline (decreasing fuel economy), but it takes a lot of energy to plant the crops, harvest them, transport them, process them into ethanol, etc. than ethanol produces. Plus it drives up food prices. And if it weren't for government subsidies and tax breaks, it would make fuel more expensive.
@cypress1337 It has also been discovered that the temperature of the planets, including Earth, rises and falls as solar flare activity increases and decreases. More solar flare activity throws more energy out from the Sun, warming the planets. Less solar flare activity cools the planets.
But the media, which is largely biased, tends to ignore this. Ever wonder why it is no longer called "global warming", but is now called "climate change"? It's because the Earth is now cooling.
@cypress1337 There has been something like 9000 scientists that have signed a petition saying they don't believe climate change is caused by human activities.
It's been shown that the average temperature on Mars rises and falls along with the average temperature on Earth. Last year they figured out that the average temperature on Pluto does the same. This proves that climate change is driven by the SUN, because the SUN is the ONLY thing common to the temperature of all the planets.
Yeah, let's do fucking nothing and see who was right. It's only the planet, we'll hit the reset button when something bad happens.

Anthropogenic global warming IS NOT a proven fact, unlike what duck24x says below. Read Climategate by Brian Sussman for more infor.
