He sold it to dabur india a year and a half ago so it is not owned by him but he still has a contract to manage ors for another 4 years or so but its definately not black owned anymore. Go and research it.

Great video! Awesome information! I also think even if a company is not black owned, but they employ a lot of black people in all positions, still keeping some of the profits in the community. I think these companies should be supported also.

@missVeemack You make a good point; it's great for other companies to hire Black people in the hair care industry. After all Black people spend more money in the Beauty Supply stores.

@TheMsKinkyBeauty I understand what your saying, that's the thing African Americans sell their Black owned business to other people if the price is right. Just like BET - Black Entertainment Television was sold by a Black guy to a Caucasian woman.
