Saucy Night has made Barefoot history

Saucy night was an ex-racehorse who was retired and he had never passed another horse in his life or in a race. Eamonn took him on, he had tendon problems and so Eamonn took his shoes off and started him on a natural trim. Cut a long story short they got him ready and fit again to race with the help of Simon Earle. He raced his races barefoot from then on and he not only took over other horses while on the tracks but he won and made Barefoot history. He is a ledgend. Since then he has reaced 6 races and won 2, he has been placed in the other 4 aswell. All of Eamonn's horses are barefoot and all race.

Go barefoot!! Loves it! I read in an article, or something, that out of like 20 horses there was one barefoot, and they were steeplechasing, or show jumping, and it was really muddy, well 17 horses slipped or either fell, and the barefoot horse jumped clean with two horses with shoes! Its awesome. And I love Saucy night, becuase people are like hey... maybe we should check into this whole barefoot deal, awesome!

thanx a lot yes i am very passionate about bitless and barefoot and all the other natural stuff and i am not going to hide it if people dont like it thats there choice but i know its better for the horses thanx for your comment by the way really appriciated

That's awesome that Simon Earls did Natural Horsemanship with Saucy. You don't hear about to many race horse trainers doing that.

What country is this in? In New Zealand, as far as I am aware, they are not allowed to race barefoot (which is a bloody stupid rule).
