If you have any questions or requests for tutorials, post a comment or pm me.

So what would be a advantage to doing it this way? You don't have to open your browser and manually log in, and you can check many email address with the lick of the mouse (I check 10 at a time, imagine logging in and out 10 times)

  • nope, i'm not aware of any protection software. I'm using a mac, does that make a difference?

I got thunderbird to work with gmail and yahoo, jsut hotmail is a no go...

  • Ohhh a Mac, ok, that makes sense.

Try setting your POP port to 1100 in your hotmail account settings, because Macs block ports below 1024 (not that that's bad or anything, they just do)

  • When I "Get Mail" for my hotmail account, i get an alert message that says

Could not connect to server localhost; the connection was refused.

    What should I do?

  • Sounds like your Firewall or some other protection software might be interfering. Do you happen to have Norton?

  • Dude, Thanks for you instructional Video, But have two MAIN problems.

1-The speed you use with the screen you select (is not good at all), teaching is not in you destiny.

2-When I follow all you Instruction, I found out, Mozilla have a new version and you video is not good for it.

Thanks any way, at list I have the Plugins and the Software, I'll check other source to get the right Instruction about this new version.

    Bless and Peace

    Alex

  • I know there have been updates, but it was AFTER I made my video they did updates, it's nothing I can control.

As for the screen size, it needs to be this small so you can read text.

I hope you get your client working.

  • This is one of the most sickening tutorials i've ever seen

  • My goodness! Your voice is so distorted I can't understand you. Re-do with a different microphone.

  • i have a important question, how can i enable or open port 25 i mean i really need it cause the cmd cant connect to port 25 and iraelly need it

  • I would recommend using Gmail IMAP instead of POP. Using IMAP your email will stay in sync. e.g. when you read a message in Thunderbird it will be marked as read in the webmail interface as well and messages sent will also be in the sent folder in Gmail. Very useful if you have email in lots of places.

  • i'm using a mac, does that make a difference and i don't have mozzila? because someone hack my password in hotmail i need only my email. thanks for this video

  • does not work for hotmail, sorry worry typing

  • This method does work for hotmail, I always got the "negative vibes" message. And Gmail do not need this extension. You can access it directly by pop and smtp or imap

  • Question: i have a youtube acount, but i want to change my email. How do i do that? tnx

  • So does this mean that the emails and attachments will NOT be saved to your computer? That this would be the same as if you viewed the emails in a browser?
