Video LP - Introduction - Erase This by Alan Lastufka & Luke Conard

This is a Video LP, it allows you to stream my entire album, free of charge, as many times as you'd like. It's a visual format, so it includes the lyrics and the (what I consider to be) important liner note artwork typically associated with a CD booklet or album sleeve.

Alan, I have been thinking of different ways to recreate the physical format of an album into a digital space. I love this Youtube playlist idea! I am a relatively new sub as well, but so far everything I've seen.heard you do so far, inspires me more and more. By the way, what program did you use for all of the graphics to be so crisp? Simply photoshop? love to know. And thanks for this preview. I almost bought the 5 dollar amazon deal, but I really wanted a physical deluxe version instead.

@stephupurlyf Glad you like the idea. =) I use Fireworks to create all of the graphics, it's very similar to Photoshop, it's just I learned Fireworks first, so I'm more comfortable using it. You could do all of the same stuff in Photoshop though.

Alan, this is one of my favourite albums of all time. Even compared with 'mainstream' artists, I think it still comes first. It is nothing short of absolutely amazing. I have only one regret after buying this on iTunes - I don't have a physical copy to cuddle as I sleep.

I'd say something along the lines of 'I cannot wait for the next album', but I know you spent a LONG time making the last one, and I really think the extra effort made a big difference, so I'd rather you take your time.

@fallofautumndistro Cool, very cool :) Incidentally I love the album. I bought it when it first came out, and wasn't sure what to expect. I had heard Winter's Song on your site and LOVED it, and I was very pleased with the album. It goes together as an album soo well, and Luke's voice is just gorgeous. Thank you for sharing your wonderful creativity with the world :)
