The bathroom hand soap dispenser is empty.
I have a gallon container (Thanks Sam's Club!)
I let a thin stream of soap pour into the dispenser.
Thanks to long molecules and falling about 8 inches,
it acts weird.
First a side view, then a looking down view with magnification.
Please disreguard the audio.

  • That's called the Kaye Effect.

  • Very interesting. I have been trying to get good video of the same thing and have been pouring onto a white plate. You got far better contrast than I. You have excellent edge-lighting and that helps terrifically!

I am curious about what you might do with slow motion in this project.
