It turns out that if you want to export a colored map, you need to leave "Col" enabled and "Nor" disabled.

Hey again!
After trying to mimic what I did to solidify my understanding, my texture has not been able to display color in PView; the texture is in black and white. Any more ideas? My first attempt of exporting a UV map was successful, and included the color.
If this helps in spotting my problem, my texture displays correctly in 3d view, but the texture preview in the buttons window displays the texture in black and white.
Thanks in advance!

That was the problem. Thanks bro.

if pview shows your colored image as black/white then something is seriously fishy. either with the panda-version you'r using, or your hardware or something else. please file a bugreport on the panda forum, including the files neccessary to reproduce the bug.

My texture appears in PView after exporting thanks to your tutorial, but when I load up the model in my code, I can't see the texture.
Any ideas?

@Twinfun2 sounds very much like a path-issue. make sure the texture is in the path specified in your egg file so panda can find it.

I'm glad your a professional and all, but I'm not, it would help if you tell what button you are pressing to switch modes. Took me like 30 minutes to figure out what you did to change a mode. So it was long. So if you could please add more comments in the video that says what you pressed to get this to happen, ty ^^

my videos are about how to use the chicken exporter. they are NOT made to teach you the blender basics. there are so many other excellent videos about that.
