It is a perennial, not an annual, and it is a beautiful vine indeed that needs no care what so ever, but you need to know what you are getting into first. It can be hell if you ever want to get rid of it. Think Bamboo.
why don'r you just prune it and stick the cuttings into compost and sell them to friends? You don't need to kill the plant with roundup, or pull them out. The fruits makes healthy juices too. The worms in your compost bins, love to eat the leaves and the skins of the fruit. You can control their "flight path"
chinese star jasmine? tracheolespermum jasminoides or sim.... is this the plant "you can not remember" i just planted three fruiting varieties, i hope they never get that big, my neighbour would hate me
Oh my goodness! You know how much you can sell these vines for? Here's a fun fact, you can use EVERY part of the plant for teas. It's a natural sedative. The flower petals are sweet and some people even smoke the dried leaves. Try dehydrating the leaves and flowers and saving it for teas. You can also use the plants while fresh. It's a blessing!
Is there a difference between passion flower vine, and the passion fruit vine? Sorry i'm confused. i wanted to plant the passion fruit vine because i like the juice you can make from the fruit. i've been watching different videos and now don't know if they are the same plant.
THANK YOU. I was just planning to buy a vine and plant it this spring. Now that I've seen your video, I think I'll plant something easier to control. I really glad I saw this video. Thanks again for posting.
I just bought 3 passion vines for my small back yard. Now that watching this video, I got worry. I think I will pull them up. Thanks for your warning.

Aw man. I wish my passiflora looked like that. I have P.edulis but even after 2 years, I haven't seen a flower. :-(
