Six Flags Magic Mountain - Memorial Day (5/25/09 - Edited Version)

The following video is an edited version of my day at Six Flags Magic Mountain last month on Memorial Day. This version is 9:45 min., while the original is 11:35 min.

The original source files from my digital camera were deleted, after I created a saved Windows Movie Maker version (WMV), and was unable to save it as a movie. I gave up, and tried a different method. I converted the .WMV files to .AVI, and tried to save it. It was successful, however the video quality isn't as good as the original .mov files from the camera and .wmv files, so take that in account while watching it, especially if you view it full screen.

In this video, I added background overlay music at a decent sound level, to heighten the viewing enjoyment. The songs used are: "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" by Aerosmith, at the beginning for like 15 sec., and than "Away from the Sun" by 3 Doors Down, "Ordinary World" by Duran Duran, and than for like 35 sec, we hear "Beautiful" by Flickerstick, and during the quick ending credits, for a couple seconds, the heavy chorus on "Crystal Baller" by Third Eye Blind.

Though I have been on every ride and attraction several times over the last two decades at Magic Mountain, on this particular day, I only rode Terminator: Salvation - The Ride once, Goldrusher, Revolution, Viper, Goliath, Ninja, Colossus, Scream, Orient Express, and visited the Sky Tower, to see the museum of park history. I also took 193 pictures with my digital camera, and alot of video footage, as seen in this video, and my Terminator: Salvation - The Ride video.

The rides and attractions I didn't get on were Deja Vu, Tatsu, Batman: The Ride, Riddler's Revenge, Roaring Rapids, Log Jammer, Jet Stream and Superman: The Escape. I will ride those for my next video.
