Irish Dancing - St Patrick's Day Traditional Set Dance

Dancing my St Patrick's day which is a tradition set dance.

It might seem that the music & my feet are not in time with me dancing, but it's because I recorded it with my phone

*PLEASE NOTE* I am now retired from dancing competitions and only dance now as a hobby & to teach.

i was woundering WHY u put tape on your hard shoes?

ps:u rock at dancing u shouldnt of gave up

i have trouble puttin me shoulders back wen im dancing ? have any tips ? anyone really?

@11irishdance - The tape can help you grip the floor better if its slippy - you score the tape with something sharp so that its a bit sticky.

As for keeping your shoulders back, maybe try thinking of standing up as tall as you can, holding ure head up (not tilting your chin up though!) & hopefully you will get it with practice :)

The music for St. Patrick's Day is called "St. Patrick's Day." ;) Our school uses the Mark Arrington version.
