@teenprepper96 The bees weren't killed, they were sold or put in other skeps. The leftover brood was killed with the sulfur. ;)

They did. All bees are transferred to another skep by bouncing. But then there is some brood left, and perhaps a few bees. These are killed quickly with sulpher, instead of letting them die starving.
