Learn how to weave a tube using 2 rigid heddle reeds and 2 pick up sticks. With a tube you can make pouches, draw string bags, totes, etc. with minimal sewing. Do a plain weave to close the bottom, then hem the top. Your bag is nearly complete. Just add handles, etc.

You can also weave double wide cloth. What is the advantage of double wide cloth? If your loom is only 15" wide, you can weave cloth that is 30" wide.

The weaving sequence for double wide cloth is Stick B, #2 Down, #1Up, Stick A
