Maybe, but looking at the seat height which is 30.1" on the Zuma, the Vino 50 with a seat ht. of 28.1" might be better. The problem comes in if you stop on hills or there is a dip where you are trying to put your feet down. This would not be a problem for a young, nimble, experienced rider, but for a newer rider, seat height is critical until you get balance down. The other little scooter with a low seat ht. is the Honda Metro. The Zuma would be the fastest of the 3. Vino 125 would be nicer.

She has a Honda metro now. The Metro is not as heavy built as the Zuma and is 5 mph faster and smoother at 42 mph. If you want to stay in the 50cc class. For someone with a short inseam the Honda Metro is better.. If you want to go to the next size up look at the 2011 Honda Elite as it has been revived this year!
