Sure, I suppose (although the idea of a 'free will' under God is questionable) but what does that have to do with anything? What does 'choosing a religion' have to do with the topic at hand, i.e. science vs. religion?

That's true, but we have free will right? An African or Arabian, which are away from white culture, can choose Norse Paganism, it's freedom.

"Science does not deny religion, most good scientists were good Christians."... That's because they lived during the times where religions dominated. Being a member of a certain religion simply depended on which part of the world there born in. Also, anyone going against religious teachings was punished (including scientists, like Galileo or Copernicus)... which is not the case today. Religion is OK with science as long as it doesn't contradict the scripture...kind of sad.
