http://www.ishafoundation.org/ A seeker asks Sadhguru about the nature of the anger found in great Indian seers such as Vishwamitra. Sadhguru explains that anger is intensity and that intensity is good but when you attach an emotion to intensity it can become misery. (SaO65)

  • came to watch sadghuru to be enlightened. ended up being more lost in life.

  • One day i felt and anger soooooooo intense that I could not take it anymore. I was filled with so much intensity i could not think. Then i cried, "God help me!!"

In an instant the intense anger turned into one of the most intense peace i have ever experienced. There is something about letting the feeling arise with intensity and asking God to transform it for his purpose.

  • Dang. I've been doing this my whole life and I didn't know it!

  • This made so much sense to me. There have been times that I have been extremely angry, not at anyone or anything, but felt bad about being angry because it isn't something that is accepted in society. Thanks for this upload.

  • @MrFirstsunlight if can catch your anger and relise its only an intense emotion and you allow space for it to be.you can be great peace least this is what i have experianced

  • Anger expressed is draining for me, and so far I am not always able to contain it.

  • very nice, I would love to know how to stay less intense though... I can't have people scared of me all the time...

  • Wow this was very helpful, a somewhat unusual teaching to receive for me, but an addition to my understanding, intensity...I always thought anger was something that should be kept under control, or a negative emotion, this puts a new light on it. I have known a kind of pure emotion like rage, but that was also somewhat blissful, so I know that this intensity has a purpose and a reason. My question now is that it tends to be a focus on the heart chakra, isn't it? Can this intense exist balanced?

  • The great Sadhguru!!!

    Thank you!
