i like this cut. i like how he can be cool for spring/summer yet not look chicken legged. i'll try it with mine next spring.

It's impressing to me how calm he is, my cocker is almost 2 years old, but i didn't baby-raised her so it's harder for me to brush her her, and she doesn't like it much when I grab her legs and I try to brush the coat from the belly and chest, legs and paws, any recommendation to get her used to me holding her and working on her coat?

Thank you so much for letting us watch your expertise in grooming. I have a Cocker Spaniel and have never trimmed him before although I have the expensive Oster Clippers that I purchased a long time ago with the intent of saving a couple of dollars. Well, I have never attempted a cut so I have never recouped the money I spent on them. I think that after watching your video, I will give it a try. Thank you again.

Great job! Your cocker is beautiful and so well behaved. It's also great to see an American cocker that is not overweight and looks like a cocker is supposed to look. Agile and healthy! I have an English cocker boy, who is turning one this week :)

Thanks for the vid! I have a black cocker that needs a cute summer cut. I'm gonna try this myself. I hope it works out.

Thank you for making all these informative videos! My family is about to cut our Am Cocker puppy for the first time (he is about to turn one). We took him to petsmart and they did not make it a good experience for him at all, so we don't really want to take him back there. My mom is going to try something of a puppy cut on him and your videos will really help! Thank you!

Hi spanielmom, thank you so much for your videos. i've seen all the cocker ones and have learned so much. I've invested in a good pair of clippers and a grooming table and he's had his 3rd cut already. My cocker looks great and i've never been to grooming school. Learned from your videos:) in my case, i was tired of paying out 50+ dollars and not satified with his haircut. Thanks again
fab video, would love to see what you do with his Mohawk.
grate tips on the legs a im growing my girls legs out for the summer as they were shorter than i would have liked over winter.
look froward to your next video, love it when groomers get creative with other breeds.
any chance of you doing a video on cockapoos ?

@kendal25188 I have recently shaved his mohawk off, once it grows out I'll post a video on how to spike and trim it. :) Thank so much for your kind words. :) I could do a Cockapoo video... I have two that come to me and they both get different hair cuts... I'll try to video them and post them in the near future... :) Thanks again!

Are you out of your mind woman? This is supposed to be a cocker not a fl---n poodle!!!!!!!
oceanat9 1 year ago
@oceanat9 It's people like you that are out of your minds... this is a D-O-G... it's MY DOG to be exact and I can trim his hair any way I want to. His hair cut has nothing to do with a Poodle. He is a Cocker no matter what his hair looks like. I don't understand why people get so UPTIGHT about dog's hair styles... I'll never understand it. I like this hair cut and many other people do to, and to me that is all that matters. :) Thanks for your input though... really.
