Comic Book Crisis - Episode 1: Some Current Recommendations

I film the first episode of a new occassional series where I talk about comic books.

For this episode I kept things simple and just gave out some recommendations as to whats quite cool to read at the moment.

In future episodes I might cover some conventions, as well as comic book movies etc, so it won't just be me sitting on a chair rambling on!

Hey man, I've become a fan of your Comic Book Crisis episodes. Really well done I must say. Ive been wondering since your're a comic book fan yourself, you seem to be a major DC fan. I was wondering if you were into any of the Marvel series, and if so which ones? Also did you get into any of the issues for the Civil War crossover event?

I must admit I am a major DC fan, however I do dip in to Marvel books when I'm at the comic store, I just don't buy them as much.

I was tempted to start dipping in to Civil War, but there were so many tie in titles that it put me off.

World War Hulk however is severely tempting me to maybe invest some of my hard earned cash in buying some Marvel stuff.

from what ive read for far in World War hulk, I doubt you'll be disappointed. shows alot of promise so far.

I'm gonna check out that Paul Jenkins Sidekick series. Sounds interesting. Supergirl I quit reading around #10. She was a frustrating character.

Good recommendations! I've been checking out all these series myself and I gotta say you hit it right on the money. If you haven't checked out "Fell" or "Hack/Slash" I'd do so A.S.A.P.
