@ahs19291 Thank you. Mangini is not a creative force. He's the guy who plays what the creative force writes. More of the follower than the leader Portnoy was.

@tonysarrio1 hahaha no harshness at all dude! I wasn't clear enough! The thing I hate is how in The Spirit Carries on Documentary and all the post-Portnoy DT interviews, they make it seem like he died or something. It's them who wouldn't let him back in the band when he wanted to be. That pisses me off, so much time and effort could've been saved if they'd just accepted his offer to rejoin. Ughhhhhhhhhhhhh gets me mad lol

Interesting to see MP stand with Derek Sherinian right there saying all this. Both are now ex DT members. I am looking forward to all his musical projects and DT is doing great too. But certainly he is missed in DT for sure :)
