For aller første gang har Northug tapt en spurt! Legkov bl nr 3, Cologna 4. Northug sa i etterkant at han hadde dårlige spor, at det var løst og mye dårligere glid der. Hvem vet, kanskje det var det som gjorde det?

The leader of the race from FIS said after the race that Northug´s track was not good enough prepared, and he took "selfcritism"(I do not now the correct word for what I meant, but hope you understand). So say what you want, but he had bader tracks. But Vylezhanin sprinted well

@crushni To continue my previous comment. Care to mention others who were doping besides the Soviets? Care to name the skiers who you think are doping? If Vylegzhanin or Bauer or Legkov or Manificat or anyone else is doping or is suspected to be doping, what can we say about the people in front of them on the results sheet? Is Bjoergen doping, because she is winning every race she enters and doesn't look tired AT ALL or is she Jesus H. Christ? You are whiner and a homer. Grow up.

You say Germany would be dominating the sport and that German skiers are clean? You can easily google the Freiburg and Vienna medical laboratories and find that quite a few big name German and Austrian athletes were and still are doping, according to the lab reports. East European cheating? Who? Soviets? Sure.

Everybody knows all the russian skiers are involved in doping one way or another. Its a totally different accept for cheating in the east-european countries, than it is here in Norway. If the all the cheaters were caught, Norway, Sweden and Germany would be dominating this sport

I love how the commentator had a d'oh, moment. He was so confident that Northug was gonna win this race, that as they came into the finish straight, he was already remarking how oh, here comes Northug, he is gonna outsprint/beat the Russians....oh no, wait, he isn't, Vylegzhaning beats Northug in a sprint finish for the first time!! LOL
