You are part of the 62% majority.
Be part of the change.
Elected with the support of just 38% of Canadians, Stephen Harpers chosen to act as though he has 100% of the power. Instead of working with other parties to tackle the current economic crisis, Harpers opted for total inaction and political tricks. And now hes lost the confidence of Parliament.

A 62% majority of Canadians didnt vote for Stephen Harper. They voted for a government that will kick-start our ailing economy and put their family first.

If youre ready for change, then youre part of the 62% majority. Get involved.

  • @ALPHADOG3 Don't be betting to much on your majority, in fact I think the CONs will be say good bye instead!

  • @BoredomCorner Haha, on second thought, don't type that into the search engine. That video is weird...lol. But, just look up Duceppe's role in the coaltion.

  • @BoredomCorner They needed the support of the Bloc because they did not have enough elected representatives. Type something like "Dion Layton Duceppe" into the search bar and look at the videos. I acknowledged that it is part of our democracy, but I feel there is an ethics issue if a coalition does not involve the winner. I will not defend Stephen Harper for his attempt. I stand by my beliefs. I am pleased with NDP at the moment, and I doubt a coalition will happen in the near future.

  • @FoxTreatment The Bloc had nothing to do with this coalition, and for your information coalitions are totally legitimate in a Parliamentary democracy.

In fact, Harper tried the exact same thing -- with the Bloc as more active players.

  • @koshovey What do you think of Harper trying the exact same thing -- with the same players -- in 2004?

  • @ALPHADOG3 If he does that, Harper would not only be a hypocrite (see 2004 coalition) but he's be a dictator.

Harper had plenty of chances -- the opposition gave him a free ride for too long -- but he decided to be a corrupt power tripper.

  • there is no coalition, there is if they form 1 party, but they refuse to do so. 3 partys cannot form a govt. It's kinda sad. Harpers govt has never had a chance, they get ambushed by every party (if you don't give us this, we won't suppport the budget) I can hardly wait till he forms a majority, and tells them to all fuckoff, cause this is the way it is.

  • Stil want a coalition with DION.

  • a lot of liberal party voters are centrists who would never vote for the NDP and both the Liberals and the NDP promised voters they would not form a coalition just weeks before they did. It is true they have 62% of the vote but many of those liberal mps did not and do not want to form a coalition with the NDP so the 62% figure is very misleading.

  • ...and don't forget 'targeted assassinations'
