Team-M Taekwondo: Training in KOREA

During our training in Korea, Team-M trained at Kukkiwon and Kiemyung University. It was a great experience as well as a lot of fun. Team-M performed at Kiemyung University to showcase Taekwondo demo from the USA. Team-M also had the pleasure to train under Grand Master Kyu-Hyung Lee (1988 Olympic Demonstration Team Coach).

Hey how did you get to train in korea like that. I am the president of the TKD sports club at UB and i would like to go to korea and train at the university. Do you have to be part of a team or can you train individualy there?

We were currently named as the state of CA Taekwondo demoteam so this trip was funded by the CA Unified Taekwondo Association & the Korean Culture Center in LA.

This training program was selective among top athletes in CA so not anybody could attend.

Yes, you can train there individually but you would have to look up the program that Kukkiwon (Taekwondo Headquarters in Korea) offers.
