Watch Ellie's hydrotherapy session and see her progress! Eleanor "Ellie" Roosevelt was rescued on Thanksgiving Eve 2007 after being hit by a car on the FDR (Franklin D. Roosevelt) Drive in New York City. Ellie's life was saved with emergency veterinary care, and her recovery thanks to all the people who care is miraculous. Ellie's lower half was completely paralyzed but she has regained significant movement and feeling, and she keeps progressing! To track Ellie's progress, visit The Shelter Showcase community on the Best Friends Network at http://network.bestfriends.org/sheltershowcase. Ellie still needs donations for her care! Please visit www.sheltershowcase.com to donate online or mail your donation to Shelter Showcase, PO Box 43204, Upper Montclair, NJ 07043. All donations are 100% tax deductible. Shelter Showcase is an all volunteer organization so all funds go directly to the animals.
I love the results of Hydrotherapy for dogs. People's faces are too funny.
