End The FED!

Great job guys!
Demonstration against the Norwegian Central Bank (Norges Bank), and the Central Banking system in general.
Organized by Thomas Kenworthy in Oslo on February 17. 2011.
It took work and courage to organize this, kudos for that.

May this kind of demonstrations spread all over the world.

Respectful, organized, non-violent.
Let them know that we know their money scam.

PS: I (Farmann editor Hans Lysglimt) did not take part in this demonstration (it is not quite my style). But, I and the Farmann publication must still applaud this initiative. Well done guys!

No one from the Norwegian media covered this demonstration. Even though they were right there on the spot covering the event itself. That is a disgrace to the entire media establishment in Norway. Shame on you!

  • Ah, the good people of Norway are waking up to this central bank scheme. Good job! Most of the people here in Finland are totally fucking clueless about this whole issue, and to be honest, most just dont care about it.

But people are starting to wake up here also, but not fast enough.

You´re lucky that you havent joined the euro and you have all that oil, you prolly wont go bankrupt anytime soon like we are. Maybe I can find a job in Norway after the economic crash.

    Take care.

  • Fantastisk godt jobba!

  • @100percenteri Secondly, a gold standard is correct NO different from other commodities standard except in the properties of gold.

Wood does not have the same high value per unit and is then rather unfit to be money.

Furthermore we want private money! That means, let people decide what they want and people willl choose what they have chosen for millenia that is Gold & Silver! Not monopoly paper-money.

  • @gulbirk Your response is incredibly silly.

    1) We wouldnt be loaning from banks anymore we would be loaning from other citizens. Right now, everyone loans indirectly from the centralbank and gets this fantastic "low-interest". While the fact is that low-interest is just inflation, meaning stolen money from all people and especially savers and poor people. To me that is completely immoral.

Furthemore these inflation driven "low-interest" policies has resulted in a huge bubble.

  • @100percenteri Then the option is privatisation, which is horribly silly as you would be loaning from a bank with higher interest rates since it requires profit.

The gold standard is silly. Using gold (which is an important material for future science projects and which should be dealth with PROPERLY) as the standard is no different then using wood, or silver or any other item.

  • @gulbirk You seem to be very uinformed. We do not want a central bank. Furthermore all central banks have been created by government legislation and not on the free market. Most people here want a 100-percent gold standard, meaning NO central bank and NO fractional-reserve banking.

  • And whats the alternative? To privatise it? Fucking idiots. You should be happy that it isnt private. In fact, if you bothered to check some facts, you would know that the cheapest banks in Norway when it comes to loans are PUBLIC banks.

  • skulle ønske jeg var der!

  • Man blir glad som svensk libertarian att se detta initiativet! Kul att se att norrmännen har kommit längre än de hjärntvättad svenskarna.

  • @zweezey

Not for long, not when the people wake up from their dogmatic slumber

  • Love your enthusiasm , sticking it to their asses in sub zero weather, I gave a middle finger to a security camera installed at on of the FED buildings in my country, F U FED ! Walked by 2 or 3 times because my friend and I were downtown and were supposed to meet someone from another city, every time, a CLEAR middle finger to the camera, I BET they caught it on tape...
